Microsoft Agreements

Microsoft products are used by students at campuses across the nation. ICUT is pleased to offer discounts on essential Microsoft products through the following agreements.

Contact Lois Hollis, ICUT's Director of Member Services, with any questions.

How it Works

  1. Each participating institution receives an annual license for the latest version of Office, Windows OS Upgrade, and Core CALs for both PCs and Macs.
  2. The program covers all computers owned by each participating institution, including all computers added during the term of the agreement. The number of licenses required is based on the full-time equivalent of the faculty and staff, rather than the number of computers.
  3. Each participating institution saves 50%-70% on the cost of normal academic licenses.
  4. Each participating institution has the option of adding additional software for their campus computers and/or a license for students' personal computers.

The Education Enterprise Agreement (EEA) is a three-year contract with an August 31st renewal date for campus-wide software installation. This option has been available since 2000 and offers the following features:

This agreement allows all ICUT members to purchase Microsoft software for institutional use at an educational discount. No campus enrollment form is required and there is no minimum purchase. It also allows for personal purchasing of Microsoft products at a discount for faculty, staff and students.
