Tuition Equalization Grant Program Overview

ICUT's chief legislative priority, the Tuition Equalization Grant (TEG) Program provides essential funding to Texas students that choose to attend private, nonprofit colleges and universities in the state. See below for more information about the TEG program.

  • Meeting the Needs of 21st Century Students
    • This report identifies promising practices implemented to increase student retention rates for low-income students, first-generation students, and students of color at 16 ICUT member institutions.
  • Economic Impact of Higher Education in Texas
    • In collaboration with the Council of Public University Presidents and Chancellors (CPUPC) and the Texas Association of Community Colleges (TACC), the ICUT Foundation engaged the services of EMSI to determine the net economic impact of higher education in Texas.
