The members of ICUT are Texas institutions of higher education incorporated under the Texas Non-profit Corporation Act. They must be tax-exempt, accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and must grant undergraduate degrees. ICUT includes a wide variety of institutions, from research universities to traditional junior colleges.
